On June 4, 2017 my daughter was traveling through Douglas County, heading back home from a long trip. While traveling East on I20 a driver and her passenger began yelling at my daughter, throwing things at her car and swerving at her vehicle trying to make her wreck. She dialed 911 and was connected to the Douglas County Sheriff dispatch, which she provided the tag to and advised what was happening. She was told by dispatch that she needed to exit the interstate and come directly to the Douglas County Sheriffs Office, which she did. A deputy met her there and she advised she wanted to make a report. The deputy told her that in looking at her car there was no damage so no report would be made. My daughter called me immediately and told me what he had told her. I then called the dispatcher and she advised that they had put a lookout on the car and that was all they could do. I advised the dispatcher that I wanted to talk to either the deputy that answered the call or his supervisor. I was placed on hold and then spoke with a Sergeant Kelley, the supervisor. I advised Kelley of what happened and he said that they put a lookout on the car. I asked why there wasn't going to be a report done and he said that they "Do a report on every call". I advised Kelley that how was his deputy going to do a report without my daughters information. Kelley again said that a report would be done. I asked Kelley then why did the deputy tell my daughter that he wasn't going to do a report since there was no damage on the vehicle? I stated that last time I knew throwing anything at a moving vehicle was Terroristic Threats and acts according to Georgia law and that it was also covered under aggressive driving. Kelly said he would get with the deputy and make sure he did the report; I asked Kelley for a report case number and the dispatched chimed in and said that she had the number. The dispatcher said that the "case number was CFS1744137". I asked if this was the case number that I could get a copy of the completed report and was told that was the "call for service number". I again asked if this was the number that I could call and get a copy of the report and was told yes, but it would take 4 to 5 days before it was ready. On June 9, 2017 at approximately 4pm, I called the records department and provided them with the case number and was advised they couldn't find it, They asked what day this happened, what my daughters name was and had me give them the case number several times and was placed on hold numerous times. After not being able to find the report in their system, I was told that I would need to check back "next week". I told the records clerk that I find it suspicious that she couldn't find any record of the supposed report. I asked her to give me the name of the deputy so that I could file a formal complaint against him and again was placed on hold, After a long wait I was told that what they were going to do was email SGT. Kelley and have him call me back , that maybe the report hadn't been approved yet or there was a problem with it. I provided all of my contact information, for Kelley to call and was advised that he worked nights and would come in tonight. I advised them I would expect a call and was told they had just sent the email. Spring forward to today June 15, 2017 and no call and no report. I'm not sure what the problem is with this Douglas County Deputy, but one thing It may be is the lying supervisor that's over him. Since it appears that calls won't be returned, consider this as my formal complaint. Just a little footnote I've been a officer for many years and its this type of laziness that pisses off the general public!!

After having to call them to my home a few times. Now i really know some of the Sheriff's give a rat trap about a woman.. I was told by officer Gordon Ernst that my husband had a right to kick my door in where ever i go if I'm still married to him. They did nothing to hrlp me. Now I'm having to watch my back anywhere i go.. Now that sad.. I think they told him to do that to cover up the time they were called out from someone, and damage the door themselves. I ask for a report of this but was told no report was made.. Now that this officer told him to damage the door. In his report now i see where he's saying on this report that there was no damage to the door, but on the report this time says he only see damage from when the Sheriff was called one before.. Bad service all together..

probably the worst people I've ever met, i told them my mom has been mistreating me, all they say is "i can't do anything about it". they constantly believed my mom and left me in the dark. i ran way from home because i couldn't take it anymore and when i came back they were ready to arrest me. NYPD is better and more understanding.
