- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Very disappointed in Home Star financial. We started working with them to purchase a home and then out of the blue our phone calls were not being returned. We even tried to email multiple times with no response. It has been 2 weeks since we have been able to speak with the guy who started the process with us. We were really excited to start this journey and start it with a local business. I will not recommend homestar financial to any family or friends who are trying to buy a home in the Douglasville area.By Katie Plybon, January 15, 2017
